Things that are happening in our community that everyone should know about!
Please check the Area Events/Activities Calendar for even more information! I try to keep it updated with information I receive from area locations and libraries. It is a great resource for curriculum supplements.

Serve the Homeless Volunteer Opportunity for Teens - Agape in Pinson has partnered with a ministry called THE NEST for several years now. It is a non-profit non denominational ministry that cooks and provides meals for Birmingham's homeless community. They serve a hot meal every Tuesday and Thursday evenings and possibly Sundays as well downtown between the BJCC and Boutwell under the bridge. They need help serving food and collecting and handing out blankets and gloves. For more information, please contact Hal Wycoff at 205-680-6599.
