There is so much happening during this time of the year, and you really should try to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities when these are so close. Here are a few events to note:
FREE admission
- Visit Aldridge Gardens for a stroll and view Scarecrows in the Garden.
- Birmingham Fiesta celebrates Latin heritage and culture in Linn Park on Oct. 18th.
- Join the Sierra Club for an afternoon at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Oct. 19th. Contact Monica
- Visit the Leonardo Davinci exhibit at the Birmingham Museum of Art.
Admission charged
- Boo at the Zoo for the next two weekends at the Birmingham Zoo.
- Bats in Alabama information and events at Oak Mountain State Park on Oct. 19th.
- Get adventurous and travel to Tuscaloosa for the Kentuck Art Festival this weekend.
Next weekend features lots of special Fall events at the local botanical gardens and state parks. In addition, many churches are offering Fall Festivals for Halloween alternatives. If you know of a fall festival event coming up next weekend, please add the info as a comment!
