Monday's Prayer

Lord, give us clear minds to hear Your voice and obey.

I have turned the TV off in my house. Yes, I did my duty and watched the presidential debates, and this drew me into the political discussions of the media. I began to feel fearful and uncertain about our country. I personally had to stop listening in order to stay sane!

Of course, to make wise decisions, I (and you) must know the facts. We must make every effort to use the voice/choices we have to further God's Kingdom. So, I need to know His heart. I need to search His guidance---not the guidance and opinion of man.

God knows who and what will lead our country back to Truth, and let's ask Him to lead us in making the right decisions/votes. Let's also pray for others that are casting votes tomorrow --- that His Spirit will be present at every polling place!

Let's not live in fear. Let's live in the certainty that God is ultimately in control, and let's call on Him. Most of all, use your voice and freedom to VOTE!
