New Year Challenges

As we enter the new year, I want to challenge you to:

Only choose to do the BEST, and rejoice in your choices. Too often we just fill up the schedule with all the good things we can find, but I want to be a little more choosy this year. I don't want to find myself in the middle of March complaining about being too busy! Let's listen to that voice that says "This is the way. Walk in it." (Isaiah 30:21) Only when we know we are following His lead, will we be able to stand confident in our decisions!

Surround yourself with those who encourage you in His ways. As homeschool families, it is easy to become isolated. Don't do it! Make a plan to hang out with us at least once a month or with a special group of people that support your decisions! We have scheduled at least 1 special group event each month, and most of these events are FREE. Work to find a place where you and your family can be encouraged.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!"

May your new year be filled with God's favor, God's voice, and good friends!
