Monday's Prayer

Lord, help us to not give up!

So, have you hit it yet? Have you heard the words "I give up! I can't do it!"? This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage and patiently lead your children to the truth. Of course, we have all heard the scripture, Phillippians 4:13, which states that we can do ALL things through Christ. When we are in a difficult situation, this is sometimes hard to grasp and truly believe.

There is another scripture which I have found to be my personal "pick me up", because we as parents also have "give up" moments. But in Galatians 6:9 we are told that we should not become weary in doing good, because we will "reap a harvest if we do not give up."

We are working toward a purpose, toward a good end. Fix your eyes on the goal and surround yourself with people who will encourage you to not give up!
