Lord, help us to keep our minds on You.
It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the information and expectations of the world. I want to encourage you to continually give your concerns and fears and thoughts a test. First, is that emotion/thought based on something real or something that might happen? Does that thought include the presence and working of an Almighty God? Is that fear based on something "they" said? (Who are "they" anyway?)
Philippians 4:8 states "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable---if anything is excellent or praiseworthy---think about such things."
So, as you feel the concern of whether your child will ever read or the concern of whether your child is learning anything at all, try to see the good things that are happening and encourage yourself in that fact that an Almighty God has led you in this path. Trust Him to continue to guide you and pray for a clear mind which focuses on the good things He is doing!
