Monday's Prayer

Lord, help us to be Your light!

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under the a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matt. 5:14-16

I know that we spend a lot of time in our homes just trying to get "school" done, but I want to challenge you to begin to see the opportunities to be a "light". Think of your neighbors, the cashier that you see at the grocery store on a regular basis, the people we meet at field trips/events, and even your family....these are all chances to shine His light, His love.

He is the light, and all we have to do is not hide---let's get out there in this world and shine!
