Making Plans

So, are you already thinking about next year? Should you try that math curriculum that everyone raves about? Should you get involved in that co-op or not? It seems that with the school year ending, most of us are eager to get prepared for the new one coming up. We don't want to make the same mistakes or deal with similar issues.

My challenge to all of us is to ask God first. You know, check things out with the One who called you to this lifestyle. Chances are He knows what is best, right? Most of us are familiar with Jeremiah 29:11 which tells us that He knows the plans He has for us - good things, prosperity..., but are you familiar with Jeremiah 29:12-13?

"Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Now, that is a promise! Not only does He knows the plans, but He promises that He will let us "find" the plans as we come to Him and seek Him.
